Hercwood Labradors

We have been licensed breeders of Labradors for seventeen years, first in Wiltshire, and then eight years ago we moved to a smallholding in Pembrokeshire.

We breed black, yellow and chocolate pups from our own breeding stock, which all have low hip scores, are eye tested and Kennel Club Registered. Our dogs are bred for temperament and to make the best family members. Our breeding includes some working and some show type. In our experiance most people do not want a dog that is too big. We aim for a well tempered, good looking, medium sized dog with a good brain, making them very trainable for whatever job their owners ask of them. Whilst most of our pups go to pet homes some have also gone for hearing dogs for the deaf, pro dog for a handicapped child and gun dogs etc. etc.

All pups are well handled, are regularly wormed and before they leave us they are vet checked, have their first full vaccination and are micro-chipped. They are also insured for six weeks through pet protect (kennel club). They all leave us with a Kennel Club Registration Certificate and a five generation pedigree and supply of food.

As licensed breeding kennels we are inspected regularly by the local authority. We aim to have happy dogs here. They are all loose exercised daily in our fields. Fully vaccinated and regularly wormed.
